A Better You Day Spa & Salon is all about you! We want to provide you with the highest standards of service and personal care, in the most professional environment so that you will return and recommend us again and again!
Reservation Policy
Spa/Salon services are available by appointment on a daily basis. We recommend calling as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. A credit card, gift certificate number(or receipt if purchased online) is required to reserve all spa/salon services.
Cancellation
If you have an appointment, this time is reserved exclusively for you. In the event that you must cancel your appointment, we require a 24 hour advance notice for all spa/salon services.
Cancellations of less than 24 hours will be charged 50% of the service(s) booked. No shows will be charged 100% of the service(s) booked. Gift certificates will be reduced to half value with less than 24 hours notice and no shows will be reduced to zero value. Groups of three or more will be required to give a seven day cancellation or reschedule notice or the above fees and gift certificate policy will be initiated.
Late Arrival Policy
Arriving late will deprive you of valuable service time. As a courtesy to the next guest, your treatment will end at the time originally scheduled. Late arrivals may be rescheduled, or the remainder of the service time may be used at full price.
Cell Phones & Pagers
Out of consideration for A Better You guests, please mute pagers. Cell phone use is not permitted in the spa. Our front desk staff will assist you if needed.
Pricing Policy
All prices quoted are subject to change without notice. All product purchases are final; no exchanges or refunds. We do not give cash refunds for services. Requests for services in the same room will be an additional fee. A Better You specials are not valid in combination with other discounts, offers or coupons. Gift cards and pre-paid appointments may not be purchased or used in conjunction with any special offer, discount or coupon. Other restrictions may apply.
Children Under 18 Policy
Due to liability reasons and to ensure a relaxing experience for all of our clients, we do not allow children under the age of 12 to accompany parents to spa or salon appointments. Children under the age of 12 may book services, but an adult is required to be with them during the duration of the services. Teens and young adults 13 – 17 may receive services only with the signed consent of an adult 18 years or older. We understand that childcare is not always available and will be more than happy to reschedule an appointment to a time that meets your needs. As always, we do require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule in order to avoid fees.
Hair Color Policy
We offer 100% guarantee on all color services within the first week after services were performed. All guarantees will be determined by stylists. A Better You will not be liable nor redo hair color that has been done outside of our salon. Corrective color usually requires more than one service to achieve desired results. Because of the nature of home-coloring products, we cannot guarantee color services if the client has previously had color done outside of our salon. We do not give cash refunds for any hair services.
Waxing Policy
A Better You is not responsible for sensitive skin or the tearing of the skin, due to excessive waxing or the use of Retin-A or similar products.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be redeemed for services or retail products. Gift certificates must be presented at time of appointment and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. A gift certificate may not be purchased or redeemed in conjunction with any special offers, discounts or promotions. Gift certificates are non-refundable. Gift certificates and gift cards are not valid in combination or in conjunction with the purchase of any discounted product or service. Many of our our gift cards and gift certificates accepted are already discounted and unfortunately our system is unable to differentiate.
Lost Items
A Better You is not responsible and cannot be held liable for any personal items lost, stolen, or damaged while a client receives services at the spa.
Privacy Policy
At A Better You we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process requests and to provide you with additional information.
What information do we collect? How do we use it?
When you sign up for our newsletter, we need to know your name and email address. This allows us to process and fulfill your request. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.
